Year 5 & 6 Football match away to Bordon Juniors
Wed 09 May 2018The Year 5 & 6 footballers took on the mighty Bordon Juniors at an away game on Wednesday, 9th May 2018. They played for an hour on a warm day with breaks every 15 minutes to re-hydrate! They played solidly in the latter part of the game, creating some great passes and pulling back a few goals, but the Bordon team were determined and, despite Buriton's valiant efforts, it was a 9-3 win for Bordon. Man of the Match was awarded to Freddie Robinson.

Small Schools Girls Football Tournament
Fri 20 Apr 2018The Year 5 & 6 Small Schools Group of girls played in their first tournament held at Perins School. This girls' football team was created back in January and they have only played together a handful of times so, we are delighted that they had a good result with this tournament and won 1 game, drew 2 and lost 2. Well done, girls

Year 5 & 6 Football match against Froxfield
Wed 18 Apr 2018On a very hot and sunny afternoon, our Year 5 & 6 players of the school football team played at home against Froxfield Primary School. It was very tough going out on pitch with the heat and the exceptionally long grass but both teams battled well and Buriton came away with a 3-2 win (goals from Luca and Freddie). Well done, guys - a great result

Year 3 & 4 football match v Dunhurst
Wed 14 Mar 2018The Years 3 & 4 played a great game of football on Wednesday and a valiant effort was made by all. Two goals scored by Matt Jessop secured the Man of the Match trophy for him and gave us a very respectable final score of Dunhurst 3- Buriton 2. Well done to all players including Archie Gregory who unfortunately missed the photo shoot

Wed 29 Nov 2017The Years 5 & 6 of the football team had a fantastic afternoon at the Football Festival held at Dunhurst School on Wednesday, 29th November 2017. It was a great opportunity for the children to try out some different positions and have some fun and we certainly did!

Year 6 wins Inter-School Challenge!
Wed 22 Nov 2017Last week, our Year 6 children took part in an inter-school Building Challenge. The children were given an insight into the world of work, in this case the construction industry, and took part in a challenge to help develop their team work, problem solving and communication skills. Our children worked suberbly as a team and won the challenge!
