We are pleased to be able to provide hot, 2 course lunches, which are cooked on site in the school kitchen by the school cook. These nutritious meals follow the Hampshire Healthy Schools scheme and the current cost is £2.80 from October 2022 representing good value.

All infant children are now entitled to receive daily a free school meal.
During the summer term a ‘picnic’ bag option is available so children are able to sit outside with those eating packed lunches.
Parents are asked to pay for meals via Scopay online in advance of a meal taken. Free school meals are available for those children who are entitled and an online application form can be completed (please see the link below) or we would be happy to help with the forms at the school office.
Our lunchtime staff encourage good manners and healthy eating ensuring that lunch together is a pleasant, social occasion.
In addition to the school lunches, the school also takes part in several other Healthy Schools schemes. These include the School Fruit & Vegetable Scheme for Key Stage One children. All children in Years R , 1 & 2 have the opportunity to select a free piece of fruit or veg for themselves on a daily basis. Milk is also provided for Year R children via the school milk scheme.
HC3S, Your Award-Winning School Caterer
With over 30 years of school catering experience, our successful ethos is to provide healthy, local, responsible sourced food that children love. Our tasty, freshly cooked, nutritious dishes help your children flourish and reach their potential. As part of a balanced diet, our lunches provide a third of a child’s daily calorie intake, to aid concentration levels and give them energy to focus and to play.
We know that providing award winning meals isn’t enough and so, at HC3S we go that step further, by helping schools and the wider community to encourage children, parents, carers to live healthy lifestyles and think sustainably.
That’s why both our ‘Ready Steady Cook’ and healthy eating/lunchbox sessions, the later in collaboration we Public Health England, are fun, engaging and available in your area. Our added value ‘Food to Flourish Classroom’ resources help teachers educate children in an innovative, food related fashion that cuts across the curriculum.
Where opportunity arise, and in a Covid safe environment, we bring live cooking and food related workshops to the classrooms. Sometimes, through partnerships with our suppliers and other local food organisations, outside of the classroom, creating sensory filled memorable experience
